All things in nature are linked in a very delicate balance. The earth to the water that covers it. The water to the fish that swim in it. The fish to the creatures that feed on it and the creatures to the humans that share it. Without balance everyone and everything is effected.  The Great Blue Heron is just one of those majestic, regal and sometimes very awkward creatures contributing and dependent on this balance.
